Ryan Kyle Sorensen, 51, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 in his home. He was an employee of Colinx, a member of 43 Assembly of God Church in Van Buren, A U.S. Army Veteran serving during Desert Shield, Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom. He was born June 8, 1967 in Greeley, CO to the late Chester and Mary Maurine (Monroe) Sorensen. He was also preceded in death by his mother in law, Helen June Seratt; a brother Rick Sorensen and nephew, Raymond Dale Seratt.
Funeral service will be 10:30 Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Ocker Chapel with interment in U. S. National Cemetery with military honors. Services are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include his wife Tina Sorensen of the home; daughters, Courtney Cristee and husband Aaron of Van Buren and Shawnee Sorensen and fiancée Brandon Tichenor of Booneville; three brothers, Roger Sorensen of Ft. Collins, CO, Randy Sorensen of Morton, IL and Michael Sorensen of College Station, TX; three granddaughters, Laynee and June Cristee of Van Buren and Tatiana Tichenor.
Pallbearers will be Jim Seratt, Marty Seratt, Steve Lovett, Aaron Cristee, Brandon Tichenor and Cole Seratt.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy, 64 East, Alma, AR.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Building Fund at 43 Assembly of God Church, 3518 Big Pine Drive, Van Buren, Arkansas 72956.
