Obituary for Charles Adkins
Charles Adkins, Jr, 83, of Barling, Arkansas passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at his home. He was a retired janitor for 76 Truck Stop and attended Northside Church of Christ. Charlie was born March 10, 1935 in Dyer, AR to the late Charles, Sr. and Nanny (Weaver) Adkins.
Services will be graveside at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include; his wife, Betty Adkins of the home; two daughters Mary (Jimmy Don) Flurry of Mountainburg, AR and Sherri (Mike) Tickler of Fort Smith, AR; two sons, Jerry (Sabrena) Shelton of Lamar, AR and David (Sherry) Shelton of Clarksville, AR; 3 brothers, James Adkins of Broken Arrow, OK, Benny (Debbie) Adkins of Van Buren, AR and Eddie (Pam) Adkins of Natural Dam, AR; one sister, Margie (Harold) Johnson of Van Buren, AR and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
