Robyne E. (Taylor) Pohlman, 64, of East Granby, entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, February 22, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Long Island, NY on June 9, 1954, the loving daughter of Helen (Card) Taylor and the late Raymond Taylor. Robyne was a longtime member of the Enfield Congregational Church. After marrying the love of her life Howard, she moved to East Granby where she found her new church family at East Granby Congregational Church. Along with her husband, Robyne was a member of the senior center and enjoyed taking bus trips and amateur theater. She was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed scrapbooking. Along with her newfound passion for cooking, Robyne enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her mother, Helen Taylor, and her husband Howard, Robyne is survived by her brother, Ralph Taylor and his wife, Mary, her sister Rebecca Stoddard and her husband John, two stepchildren, Joseph Pohlman and his wife, Shemeka and Heather Macaulay and her husband DJ. Her nephews; Kyle Taylor and his wife, Kate, Ryan Taylor and his wife, Serena. Her nieces; Heidi Stoddard-Norwood and her husband Jeff, Jessica Williams and her husband Randy; four step grandchildren, Josh, Evan, Rebecca, and Matthew; great nieces and nephew, Mackenzie, Maximus, Zoey and Addison; special cousins, Reed, Todd, Caryn, and miss Emily Doten. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at the East Granby Congregational Church, 9 Rainbow Rd, East Granby, CT 06026.
