Today we say goodbye to beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and friend, Robert Ermend Pelletier, who passed away peacefully in his sleep on 1/17/2019. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nancy Jane Pelletier, sister Simone Daigle of Holland, MA, sons Donald Pelletier of Ellington, CT, Ronald Pelletier of Blandford, MA, Paul Pelletier of Auburn, MA, Andrew Pelletier of West Hartland, CT and daughter Kimberley Pelletier of East Windsor, CT. His grandchildren, Monique Folco of Windermere, FL, Jacob Pelletier of Springfield, MA, Jennifer Pelletier of Manc hester, CT and Dustin Pelletier of Enfield, CT. He also leaves a beloved great granddaughter, Lindsey May Folco of Windermere, FL. He joins his sisters, Lorraine Foley of Enfield, CT, AnnMarie Gilistro of Wethersfield, CT and Rita Campbell of Greenwich, CT.
Robert served his country in the Navy as a gunners mate aboard an aircraft carrier at the tail end of the Korean conflict. He called Enfield home and raised one of the first families in the Greenmanorville section. He was a gifted artist who loved to draw with his kids on Saturdays. He loved to dance and laugh and was always the life of the party. He was employed at Combustion Engineering in Windsor, CT as a computer operator from which he retired. He enjoyed camping with his family then later kept a beautiful trailer at Sunset View Farms campground in Monson, MA. He and his wife enjoyed many wonderful trips, motoring down to Branson MO and exploring the Appalachians. He was also beloved by many Fermi High School students from the classes of 1981, ‘82 and ‘83 and hosted many high school gatherings and band practices. He loved as much as he was loved. there will be no calling hours or service per Father’s wishes
