Rosemary L. Hetzer, 89, of Enfield, passed away Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019 at Advent Health Hospice Care in Altamonte Springs, FL. The daughter of the late Francis and Rose (Tomany) Goff, she was born and raised in Bronx, NY. In addition to raising her family, she owned an operated The Cruse Agency Insurance Co. for 25 years in West Islip, NY and was very proud of her business accomplishments. She was a communicant of St. Martha Roman Catholic Church and was a secular Franciscan. In her free time, Rosemary enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She is survived by 5 children, Rory Rosencrans of Kissimmee, FL, Tom Hetzer and his wife Peg of Rotonda, FL, Bob Hetzer of Clifton, NJ, Eileen Steng and her husband Chuck of Fort Worth, TX, and Susan Furlong and her husband Jim of Somers. She also leaves 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert W. Hetzer. A High Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019 at St. Martha Church in Enfield. Calling hours will be held (following the Mass) from 4-7 p.m. Thursday Jan. 17, 2019 at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Rd., Enfield. Burial is private at St. John Nepomucene Cemetery in Bohemia, NY on Long Island. Donations in Rosemary's memory may be made to the St. Michael Fraternity, c/o J.
