Obituary for Johnny Feemster Jr.

Johnny Feemster, Jr., son of Johnny Feemster, Sr. and Janice Scott was born in Toledo Ohio on January 13, 1971 and passed away, surrounded by his family and friends on January 4, 2019. Johnny was a 1989 graduate of Woodward High School and was employed in the security industry at local companies including Ameritech, Continental and Society Bank. Most recently he was employed by Promedica in environmental services.

As a child Johnny attended Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, where he accepted Christ and was baptized at age 12. Johnny was an avid New York Giants fan and loved old school music. He was also a gamer, excelling at video and board games. Johnny especially enjoyed family vacations, which he chronicled with video. The family spent a lot of time in casinos all around the country.

Johnny is survived by his parents Johnny Sr. and Janice; his wife Marita Feemster; daughter, Chayla Overton, sons Johnathan Feemster and Elijah Lawrence and granddaughter Meliah Lawrence. Along with his sisters, Kenyatta McNary and Guadalupe Feemster and a host of other relatives and friends.

Johnny Feemster Jr. will live on in our hearts and in others. His wish was to be an organ donor however he was unable to donate his organs. Instead, Johnny participated in the tissue donation program. As a tribute to his life, please consider organ and tissue donation.
