Obituary for Lois J. Kale
Lois J. Kale, 90, formerly of Shenango Township passed away the evening of January 2, 2019 at Quality Life Services of New Castle.
Born in New Castle on September 27, 1928, Lois was the daughter of the late Harold and Blanche Cotton White.
Preceding her in death on October 12, 1997 is her husband, John Martin Kale whom she married on September 29, 1947.
She was a member of Hoover Heights Alliance Church. Lois retired from Jameson Hospital after twenty one years working in the housekeeping department. Prior to working at the hospital Lois had worked for Bailey’s Restaurant. She enjoyed playing bingo, visiting casinos, karaoke at her son’s bar and spoiling her dog. Lois was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who cherished the times she spent with her family.
She is survived by her seven children, Cheryl Fuze and her husband George of Wampum, Donna Buck and her husband Timothy of New Castle, John Kale of Huntsville, AL, Terry Kale, Duke Kale and his wife Debbie, Richard Kale and his wife Cheryl and Randy Kale and his wife Pam, all of New Castle; three half brothers; Harold White, Jr. of FL., Arthur White and Larry White both of OH, half sister; Sandra Latimer and her husband Glen of OH, fourteen grandchildren and twenty two great- grandchildren and two great- great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lois is preceded in death by her sister, Donna Hess, daughters-in-law, Debbie Kale and Cathy Kale, half brother, Thomas White, one granddaughter, Marcie Berardi and two great grandsons, Jon Campbell and Jimmy Kale.
Visitation is Sunday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at the Ed and Don DeCarbo Funeral Home and Crematory 941 S. Mill St. followed by a service at 7:00PM conducted by Pastor Larry Llewellyn.
Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery.
