Elaine E. (Marquis ) Schultz, 77, of Somers, beloved wife of the late Warren Schultz, peacefully passed away on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Johnson Memorial Hospital. Daughter of the late Louis and Clara (Horta) Marquis, she was born in Hartford on May 5, 1941. Elaine enjoyed a long career as a bookkeeper for Projects, Inc. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards and watching sports, a passion which she shared with her great nephew, Griffin. She was an avid Red Sox and UCONN women’s basketball fan. Elaine is survived by her sisters, Celina O’Meara and her husband Peter of Windsor, Diana Marquis-Hakian and her significant other, Boyce Kaman of Tolland, Faith Johnson and her husband K.C. of CA, and Hope Bailey and her husband Alan of CA; her nieces and nephews, Marisa and Todd Lindsay of Tolland and their children Kyle, Dylan and Griffin, Colleen and Paul Rafala of Somers and their children, Matthew, Celina, Paul and Clara, Christina and David Yamarik of Tolland and their children, Nicholas and Michael, Eileen Pierce of Windsor and her daughter Sylvia, John O’Meara of Windsor, Jennifer and Diane Dalo of Rocky Hill and their daughter, Sarah, Cedric and Andrea Hakian of Manchester and their children, Ben, Cedric and Isaac, Margaret Cosgrove of FL, Antonia O’Meara and her children, Peter III, Benjamin, and Elizabeth, Kerry and Shauna Johnson and their daughter Danica, and Nicole and Ted Von Roll and their children, Logan, Lilyana and Luke; and her dear relative, Tom Nieman. In addition to her husband Warren, she was predeceased by her nephews, Peter O’Meara, Jr., and Anthony Hakian. Services are private, at the convenience of the family.
