Esther Dameron Delano, 94, of Kilmarnock, Virginia passed away on December 13, 2018. She was the widow of Robert Delano, whom she was married to for 56 years.

Esther was a retired insurance agent and a lifelong member of Claybrook Baptist Church where she served as secretary and treasurer and she was secretary of the Ministerial Association of the Northern Neck. .

She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Moore (George) of Kilmarnock; grandson, Robert Lewis Francis of Kilmarnock; great grandson, Michael Dalton Priddy of Louisa and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles B. and Blanch S. Dameron; and her siblings, Ray Dameron, Nettie Ashburn, Ruth Smith, Marie Thomas, Royce Dameron, James Dameron and Margaret Clingan.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p. m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Claybrook Baptist Church, Weems, Va. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
