Obituary for Josephine Madge "Jo" Fox (Reel)
Josephine Madge Fox of Lancaster, VA passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at age 97 surrounded by God's love and that of her family. Jo was born in Osage, WV. on August 19, 1921 to Harry and Virginia Reel. She grew up in Mt. Morris, PA where she met her husband of 66 years, Charles M. Fox Jr. better known as "Pop".
Jo was pre-deceased in death by her husband Charles in 2007, both her sons, Chuck in 2003 and Joe in 2010, and her sister June and brother Harry.
She is survived by her daughter Rhonda Lawrence and husband Jeff of Lancaster. Five grandchildren, Denise Patterson of Canonsburg, PA., Lori Cain (Paul) of Taylorsville, KY., Charlie Fox (Chelsey) of Lancaster, Ted Fox and fiancé Lauren Jefferson of Moyock, NC., and Amy Jo King (Aaron) of Morgantown, WV.
Jo is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and dear friends who knew and loved this gracious lady.
A Celebration of Life service for Jo and Charles will be held 11:00 a. m. Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Bethel United Methodist Church in Lively, VA where they attended and were members for many years prior to moving back to Mt. Morris, PA. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
