Obituary for Eugene Martin Crouse

Eugene Martin Crouse, 88, of Paw Paw, WV, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center
Eugene was born September 7, 1930 in Maybuery, WV; the son of the late Lawrence and Lillian Fowler Crouse. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a sound tech owning his own company, Eugene Crouse & Son Electric Service, for 40 years in Maryland, DC, and Virginia. He was a member of the Nazarene church until he became a member of the Assembly of God.
He married Peggy Anne Conley on January 2, 1954 in Tazwell, VA.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his children, Keith “Skippy” Crouse of Paw Paw, WV, and Michelle (Brett) Crouse Osborne of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandsons, Robert Long, Jr. (Adriana) and Branden Long of Virginia Beach, VA; one granddaughter, Kyleigh Long who was his princess. He was also survived by a sister, Darcus Darlene Brewster of Rockford, OH and two special sisters in law, Barbara Huckaby of Baytown, TX and Connie Gills of Vale, NC; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Crouse and a sister, Bernice Smith.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester with Rev. Ray Jackson officiating. Entombment will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
