Audrey (Herr) Hennis, 92, of Stafford Springs, loving wife of Alfred W. Hennis entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Woodlake at Tolland. Audrey was born January 4, 1926, in Somers, CT the daughter of the late H. Leigh and Ada (Gummo) Herr. In addition to her husband, Al to whom she was married 69 years she is also survived by two children, Leigh W. Hennis and his wife, Vicki of Beaverton, OR and Marcy H. Osborn of West Stafford, CT; two grandchildren, Nathaniel and John Osborn; a great-grandson, Jack Osborn and several nieces and nephews. Audrey was predeceased by two sisters, Jean McCracken and Marjorie Skinner. There are no calling hours and funeral services and burial will be held privately at the convenience at the family.
