Obituary for Lonnie Lee Hill
Lonnie Lee Hill, 80, was born August 10, 1938 to Theo Sr. and Ceola Hill in Monroe, Louisiana. On Wednesday, June 12, 2019, God sent his Angels to claim one of their own. He was the youngest of 10 children.
In 1960, Lonnie married Dorothy Hill, with whom they shared their lives with for 58 years, with this union four children were born.
Lonnie joined Mount Pilgrim Church in 1957. He was employed at Champion Spark Plug for 22 years where he retired. He also worked for the University of Toledo where he retired in 2000.
Lonnie loved to entertain family and friends. He also was an active member of the leo connection. He enjoyed bowling, working on cars, barbecuing and baking.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents Theo Sr. and Ceola Hill; daughter, Tanya Hill; sisters, Victoria Scott and Wille-Mae Scott.
Lonnie leaves to cherish his memories his children Charles Riser, Tony (Sara) Hill, Val Hill and Darrell Hill; Brothers Theo Jr., Cleo, Levi, and B.B.; Sisters Bessie Brown and Martha Jones; Grandchildren Brandon, DJ, Trey, Isayah, Ainsley, Jayda, Isaiah and Elyjah, and a host of neices, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
