God called Luigi peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the age of 91. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Maria. Cherished by his dear children, Anna (John Rehn), and Lina (Tony Gargaro). Proud Nonno to Jennifer, Jason (Olga), Christopher (Alessandra), and Adrian. Adoring great grandfather to Adam, Mila, and Ellie. Luigi will always be remembered by his sister Natalina and brother in laws Geraldo (Maria Pia) Tuzi, and Angelo (Claudia) Tuzi. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Tuesday June 13, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday June 14, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday June 15, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Yonge St., south of Hwy 7.). Donations in Luigi's memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.
