God called Gaetano peacefully on Thursday May 25, 2017 at the age of 92. He is now reunited in heaven with his loving wife Maria Giuseppa. Cherished by his dear children, Antonio (Antonietta), Maria (Carmine Melchionna) and John (Tammy). Proud Nonno to David (Antonella), Marianne (Reda Talbi), Laura (Daniel Brugaletta), Rocco (Sandra), Gaetano (Becky), Jason, Justin, James, Shannon, and 14 great-grandchildren; Christopher, Matthew, Joseph, Sarah, Elyes, Leila, Nicholas, Michael, Luca, Sophia, Emma, Sebastian, Elizabeth and Carter. Gaetano will always be remembered by his siblings Rosetta and Vito. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday May 28, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 29, 2017 at 9:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Private entombment to follow. If so desired, donations in memory of Gaetano may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada
