God called Joao peacefully on Thursday May 25, 2017. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and friends. Visitations will be held on Sunday May 28, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Vescio Funeral Homes, Toronto (2080 Dufferin Street, north of Rogers Road). The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 29 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Roman Catholic Church (1481 Dufferin Street, south of Davenport Road). Joao's body will be sent back to Portugal at a later date. If so desired, in memory of Joao, donations may be made online to the Princess Margaret Hospital or the Canadian Cancer Society.
