Calogero passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday April 28, 2017 at the age of 93. He is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife Calogera and his two sons Liborio & Francesco. Cherished always by his dear children Luigi, Giovanni, Antonina, and Salvatore. Proud Nonno to 18 beautiful grandchildren and 17 adoring great grandchildren. Calogero will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Saturday April 29, 2017 from 6:00 – 9:00pm and on Sunday April 30, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00pm & 6:00 – 9:00pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 1, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (on Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave).
