God called Maria peacefully on February 13, 2017 at the age of 85. She is lovingly remembered by her husband Bruno. Cherished by her dear children, Pietro (Michelle predeceased) and Emily (Randall Profitt). Proud grandmother to Victoria Marie and Christina. Maria will always be remembered by her siblings Pasquale, Giovanni (Gina), Nicola (Carmela), Antonio (Kay) and Angela. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday February 16, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday February 17, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Maria may be made to Sick Kids.
