Obituary for Giovanni Camposeo
God called Giovanni peacefully on Thursday December 29, 2016 at the age of 85. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Rosa. Cherished by his dear children, Paola (Nicola Cattedra), Prudenza (Saverio Burdi), Francesca (Guy Wells) and Giovanni (Margaret). Proud Nonno to 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Survived by his siblings in Europe. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Monday January 2, 2017 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 9:30 a.m., at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr., east of Jane St.). Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens (on Don Mills Ave., south of Steeles). If so desired, donations in memory of Giovanni may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
