God called Caterina peacefully on Saturday November 26, 2016 at the age of 84. She will be reunited in heaven with her loving husband, Franco. Cherished by her dear children Anna Maria (Mario Salerno predeceased) and Vera (Frank Marchese). Proud Nonna Michael Francesco, Mark (Daniela), Michael, Kaitlan and Bisnonna to Amaya. Caterina will always be remembered by her sisters Lina, Franca, Maria and (Vita predeceased) and sister in law Giovanna. She will be held dear in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Tuesday November 29, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Ave., south of Langstaff Rd.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Caterina may be made to the Sick Kids Foundation.
