God called Serafino peacefully on Saturday October 22, 2016 at the age of 84. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Anna. Cherished by his dear children, Pia (David Schmidt), Angelo (Toni), Anna Maria (Dave Storto). Proud Nonno to Tasha, Joshua, Alessia, Vanessa, Nikko and Luca. Serafino is predeceased by his grandson Matthew. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 6-9 pm and Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday October 28, 2016 at 10 a.m., at St. Augustine of Canterbury Roman Catholic Church (80 Shoreham Dr., west of Jane St). Entombment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens (on Don Mills Rd., south of Steeles Ave.). If so desired, donations in memory of Serafino may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
