Sarah has left this planet after 89 years. There is sorrow for those who will miss her, but it's a time of celebration, for she is now in the Kingdom of Heaven. She believed Jesus came to earth and died for her on the cross, then rose again to Heaven, His victory over death. This victory is for Sarah and all who believe in His name and have faith in His promise. Her joy is full now. No more sorrow, no more pain, every tear wiped away. Celebrate.

For those who don't know Sarah, here are some snapshots of her unique charm. I used to take her with me in the car when I did my job making deliveries. One night, there was sleet and ice and she asked, Is the road slidey?

Last summer, she called because the temperature on the house thermostat kept going up getting hotter and hotter. I asked if she had the air conditioner on. She said no, she put a fan in front of the thermostat.

Because she was on dialysis, there were certain foods she couldn't eat, including tomatoes. One day, she said she was having a ham sandwich and really liked the taste of the tomato. I said, there are no tomatoes in the house. She said she sliced it up and it was juicy. One of the best tomatoes she ever had. It was a peach.

Sarah leaves her children, Nick and wife Janice, Steve and wife Cynthia, and Alison and husband Craig, six grandchildren, Joel, Nicole, Taylor, Andrew, Niko, and Benjamin, and beloved great-grandchild, Hailey. Her son, Michael, left us at the age of 29, 31 years ago. Sarah's heart was shattered. It took a long time, but her heart is restored and now Sarah and Michael are reunited. Hallelujah! Oh, happy day!
