God called Vito peacefully on Thursday September 15, 2016 at the age of 88. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Francesca. Cherished by his dear children, Benedetto Vito (Connie) and Francesca (Paolo De Luca). Proud Nonno to Adelina (Phil Agostinelli), Paolina, Paola (Michael Sciafone), Vito and Giuliana. Vito is remembered by his sister Nina. He is predeceased by his siblings Sarina, Diego, Marco, Antonio, and Rosa. He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Saturday September 17, 2016 from 2-4 & 6–9 p.m., and Sunday September 18, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery (on Bathurst St., north of Finch Ave). If so desired, donations in memory of Vito may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
