God called Pierino peacefully on Wednesday September 14, 2016 at the age of 87. He is now reunited in heaven with his loving wife, Rosa. Forever missed by Laura, her children Vince (Susan) and Maria and by her grandson Luca. Cherished by his dear children, Loreta (Joseph Isopo) and Domenic (Lisa). Proud Nonno to David (Marie), Steven, Mark, John (Maria), Michele, Andrew and his great-grandchildren Victoria, Charlotte, Rosalie Adeline. Pierino is remembered by his siblings Franco predeceased (Laura predeceased), Vincenza predeceased (Luigi predeceased), Loreto predeceased (Antonietta), Giulio (Velia predeceased), Nina (Nicola predeceased), Mario (Anna), Velia predeceased (Pasquale predeceased), Antonio (Ida), Guido (Anna) . He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. ) Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday September 18, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 5-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., at St. David’s Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major Mackenzie Dr., east of Jane St). Entombment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens (on Albion Rd., at Hwy 27). If so desired, donations in memory of Pierino may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Kidney Foundation.
