God called Ivano peacefully on June 6, 2016 at the age of 80. He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Rita. Cherished by his dear children, Adele (Nick Fusco), Fausta (Domenic Naccarato), Michael, and Steve (Belinda). Proud and adoring Nonno to Luca, Nicole, Noah and Erica. He will be sadly missed by his siblings, Umberto (Linda), Carlo (Mina), Frank (Celine) and his sister-in-law Bruna. Ivano is predeceased by his brother Igino. He will be held dear in the hearts of all his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday June 9, 2016 from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday June 10, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (on Yonge St., south of Hwy 7).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Ivano be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
