God called Maria peacefully on May 10, 2016 at the age of 79. She is now reunited in Heaven with her loving husband, Constantin. Cherished by her adoring son, Mike (Ellie). Proud grandmother to Joanne and Alex (Grace). Maria will be sadly missed by her dear friend, Marioara. She will be held dear in the hearts of all her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Thursday May 12, 2016 from 6-9 p.m., and Friday May 13, 2016 from 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday May 14, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd.). Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery (on Jane St., north of Steeles Ave.).
