God called Lina peacefully on January 26, 2016 at the age of 86. Pre-deceased by her loving husband Franco. She will be cherished by her dear children Rose (Paolo), Caterina (Leonardo), Maria, Giuseppe, and Antonio. Proud grandmother of 9 grandchildren. Lina will always be remembered by her brothers and sisters. She will be held dear in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Toronto Chapel (2080 Dufferin street 416 656-3332) on Friday January 29 from 5-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 30 at 12:00pm at St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church (706 Old Weston Road). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery (7300 Highway 7). Donations in memory of Lina may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
