God called Rosa peacefully on January 26, 2016 at the age of 92. She will be forever loved and missed by her husband, Luigi. Cherished by her dear children, Lisa (Sam Carioti), Angela, Joe (Mary), Vince (Vincie), Tony (Louisa), Sam and Bruna (Sam Valela). Proud grandmother of 19 and proud great-grandmother of 21. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd., 905-850-3332) on Thursday, January 28th, 2016 from 6-9 p.m., and Friday, January 29th, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 30th, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Rosa may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
