God called Caterina peacefully on October 21, 2015 at the age of 85. She will be reunited in heaven with her loving husband Salvatore. Cherished by her dear children, Tony (Linda), Joe (Karen), Johnny, and Sarah (Lino Calicchia). Proud grandmother to Tania (Joe Pinzarrone), Michael (Ivona), Kimberlee, Melissa (Steve Suraci). Proud great-grandmother to Trista, Joey and Nicholas. She will be held dear in the hearts of her family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Friday, October 23, 2015, from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Ave., south of Langstaff Rd.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27 south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Caterina may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
