God called Francesco peacefully on August 23, 2015 at the age of 85. He will be forever missed by Ida, his loving wife of 59 years. Cherished by his dear children; Lou (Sandi Campbell) and Maria (Ralph Mazza). Proud grandfather to Frank (Laura White), Angela, Nicole, Biagio and Michael. Forever remembered by his siblings Antonio-pre deceased (Giuseppina-pre deceased), Salvatore (Rosina), Giuseppe (Rosetta), Mario (Maria) and Lillina (Piero). He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends in both Italy and Canada. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Tuesday August 25, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday August 26, 2015 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Padre Pio Parish (5500 Major Mackenzie Dr., west of Islington Ave.). Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Francesco may be made to Chalice; A Catholic Sponsorship Programme, or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
