God called Calogero peacefully on August 22, 2015 at the age of 81. He is now reunited in Heaven with his loving wife Angela. Cherished by his dear children; Carmelina (Mauro Fabris), Mary Di Pasquale, and Grace (Salvatore Sottosanti). Proud grandfather of Mauro Jr., Sandra, Amanda, Brittany, Lauren, Angelina Marie, and Sophia Grace Jolie. Calogero will always be remembered by his sisters Graziella (Pino Farruggio), and Maria Carmelina (Decimo Nicolini). He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Monday from 6-9pm and Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 9:30 a.m., at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave., off Rutherford Rd., west of Weston Rd.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (on Hwy 27 south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Calogero may be made to the Princess Margaret Foundation or to the William Osler Health Centre's Palliative Care Unit in care of Dr. Vincent Maida.
