God called Giovanni "John" peacefully on April 24, 2015 at the age of 86. He will be forever missed by his loving wife Lina. Cherished by his dear children; Nick (Ida) and Lisa (Bruno Tozzo). Proud grandfather of Natalie, Nicole, and Daniela. Always remembered by his siblings; Filippo, Michele (Fina), Antonio (Nina), and Stefano (Brigida). He is now reunited in Heaven with his father Nicolo and mother Maria. He will be held dear in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Sunday April 26, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-9pm and Monday April 27, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.) Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery on Hwy 27 south of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Giovanni "John" may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
