God called Luigi, aka "Penei", peacefully on December 18th, 2014 at the age of 90. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Elena. He will be cherished by his dear children Silvia (John Eisner) and Rosalba (Shawn Stragier). Proud grandfather of Matthew (Fiancée Erin), Daniel and Jack. Luigi's passion in life was his art. His legacy lives on through lovingly crafted masterpieces throughout the world. Luigi will be held dear in the hearts of his brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends. Sincere thanks to Dr. Vincent Maida and his team. Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905 850-3332) on Monday, December 22nd from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 23rd at 10:00am at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St. Francis Ave. Woodbridge). Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (Hwy 27, south of Hwy 7). If so desired donations in memory of Luigi may be made to the Palliative Care unit at William Osler Health System - Etobicoke Campus or the Canadian Cancer Society.
