Peacefully and surrounded by her family, at Humber River Regional Hospital on Thursday, October 30, 2014, Corinna Puntillo (nee Luchetta), passed away in her 82nd year. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Francesco (2006). Cherished mother of Joe and his wife Mary, Jim and his wife Paola, Tonia and her husband Spike. Loved nonna of James, Michael, Francesco, Javier, Keily, Aria, Ellery and Miles. Corinna was born in Rende, Italy. She came to Canada, married Francesco in 1962 and together they built a home life that centred around family, togetherness and laughter. Corinna was a kind and gentle spirit, with a caring heart and a quick smile. She enjoyed a rich family life, but especially devoted her energy to her grandchildren for whom her love knew no bounds. Her happy spirit will be sadly missed by many. Visitations will be held at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd., south of Langstaff Rd., 905 850-3332) on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 9:30am at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church (100 Bainbridge Ave. at Martin Grove Rd.). Interment to follow at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery (305 Erskine Avenue., off Mount Pleasant Rd. north of Eglinton Ave.). In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Liver Association.
