God called Elisabetta peacefully on April 21, 2014 at the age of 84. She will be cherished by her dear children Lina (Cosmo Bertucci), Dina (Carmelo De Luca), Tony (Fronie), and Rose. Proud grandmother to Carolyn (Roch Lessard), Joseph Gentile (Christine), Stephan Gentile (Catherine), Marco Bertucci (Susanna), Adriano Bertucci (Krista), Lorenzo Bertucci (Elise), Daniel De Luca (Carling), Matthew De Luca (Natasha), Michael Raimondo (Sarah), and Keenan MacNeal and great grandmother to Andrew, Dante and Milan Lessard, and Calia De Luca. Elisabetta is survived by her sister-in-law Menina Casalino. She is now reunited in heaven with her eldest daughter Maria Gentile, son-in-law Benedetto Gentile, and her brother Danny Casalino. She will be held dear in the hearts of her nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and many friends.
Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd. 905-850-3332) on Sunday April 27, 2014 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday April 28, 2014 at 11:00am at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd., north of Chancellor Dr.). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, north of Hwy 7). If so desired, donations in memory of Elisabetta may be made to the Arthritis Society.
