Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at the age of 90 after a battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. Assunta went home to the Lord. Loving wife of Late Pasquale Cuda. Proud Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, who will be remembered as an exceptional caring and devoted individual who always put her family first. She will be greatly missed by her seven children, 18 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren and extended family. Assunta’s family would like to thank all the staff at Pine Grove Lodge for their great care and devotion. Visitation to celebrate her life will take place at Vescio Funeral Home (Woodbridge Location - 8101 Weston Road. 905 850-3332) on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Margaret Mary Church (8500 Islington Ave, south of Langstaff Rd) on Friday March 14th at 9:30am. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens (off Don Mills Rd., south of Steeles Ave.) In memory of Assunta and in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of York Region or to St. Margaret Mary Church.
