Passed away at home in Hamilton, on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at the age of 70. Predeceased by her husband Fahrettin (2009). Mother of Gokcin (Thomas) and Goksen (Sezgin). Grandmother of Filiz, Ethem, Ali and Brandon. Sister of Feriha and Fahriye.

Dhuhr Prayer at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5 at the Hamilton Mountain Mosque (1545 Stone Church Rd E, Hamilton). Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) between 3 – 6 p.m.
