Obituary for Bernarda Malec
Bernarda Malec, age 78, passed away peacefully, on Monday, July 23, 2018, at the Hamilton General Hospital. She was born on August 24, 1939. Predeceased in death by her husband Antoni Malec, brother Stanislaw Gilas, sister Bronislawa Korczak and brother Lucjan Gilas. She is survived by her children Edwarda and her husband Stanislaw Galus and Jozef and his wife Anna Malec, her grandchildren Justyna, Michal, Mark and Daniel. She is also survived by her sister Stefania Habza, and many more family members who all dearly miss her, here and in Poland. Visitation will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5:30-9 p.m. Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 8 St. Ann Street, Hamilton on Friday, July 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
