Condolence: I'm sure Chappy's influence will live very, very long. He welcomed me, taught me, and supported me as a brother on the gridiron. I'm not alone. Being fun and professional at the same time was easy for Chappy. I'm sure Peace found Chappy right away, and I hope Peace quickly finds what I'm sure is a very, very beautiful Chapman Family.

Condolence From: Bill Marshall
Condolence: Paul was my Staff Sergeant when I started with the HRPS. At that time, I did not realize the impact he would have on my life and career. He was stern, but he also had a healthy sense of humour to dampened his bark. I think of S/Sgt. Chapman often and am grateful for his guidance and advice, he certainly was one in a million. Thank you Paul. To the Chapman family - thoughts and condolences.

Condolence: Dear Christine, Scott and Tracy I can't begin to express my sorrow about Uncle Paul's passing. He was truly such a great uncle. My memories of all the fun I had with him are locked in my heart. I will focus on only those. Hopefully, as time passes, the sadness you feel now will lessen and only good memories will take its place. I'm sending all my love and wish I could be there. Love, Lori xoxox

Condolence From: Cathy Renaud ( Jerome)
Condolence: The Chapmans and the Jeromes share a long history of wonderful memories together. Chappy represented Christmas Eve - the magic and laughter for children staying up way too late and falling down stairs, year after year. When my brother Carl was old enough to talk, Chappy became "Happy Chappy" ... and sometimes "Crappy Chappy"...always said with giggles and adoration. Dave and Paul coached football together and had many adventures. A trip to Barbados together for the two couples added more stories of driving a Mini Moke, escaping their responsibilities for a week and generally solidifying this friendship. Chappy, your sense of humor, quick wit, sly grin and fierce hugs will be missed. Even in your last days, your friend Dave was there by your side. Mrs. Chappy, Tracy, Scott and your families, we cherish your friendship always. Sincerely, Dave, Wendy, Cathy, Carl Jerome (Andy, Chris, Amy and all the kids) And I'm sure Norma is waiting for you, with your name embroidered on an ornament, saving your spot.

Condolence: Paul was my first Staff Sergeant in Burlington. He was a serious supervisor and while he was in charge of that particular shift, it really clicked and the constables did good work and had good fun. I really liked my time working on that shift. I remember the odd practical joke he got set up for which gave us all a good story or two down the road. I am sorry to learn of his passing. Warm regards to all of his family and close friends. Condolence From: Kevin Chapman
Condolence: My Condolence To Christine, Scott, Tracy, Cathy and Jim Paul was my uncle my Dad's brother. Paul always showed kindness to me and I could talk to him about anything. I also loved Paul because he had complete understanding of humour. It was amazing how clever intelligent his wit was. At my Father's funeral I have never seen so many people laugh at a funeral. Yet, his story was touching and heart warming. It was always important to Paul to put a smile on someone's face and to brighten up his day. I remember visiting Paul and Christine and Paul would take me to running races. (Around the Bay) Myself and everyone will miss you

Condolence From: Renay
Condolence: My condolences to the Chapman family. Death is one of the hardest things to deal with but the Bible gives us a wonderful hope for our dead loved ones. It says at John 5:28,29...”for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear voice and come out. “ this will be a wonderful time because we will see our dead loved ones again. Continue to beg God for endurance until that time comes.
