Obituary for John "Jack" Henry Nesbitt
NESBITT, John Henry "Jack"
Passed away peacefully at St. Catharine’s General Hospital on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the age of 88. Loving husband of Lois (nee Frith) for 39 years. Dear father of Lauren Baggerman (Rich) and Kathryn Linn (Rod) and devoted step-father of Lynn Vandenbroek (John), Cindy Duplessis (Frank), and Lisa Vermeulen (Zac). Proud grandfather of Alexandra (Melad), Cody (John), Ryan, Justin, Kennedy, Madison, Melody (Daniel), and Karley (Sam), and great-grandfather of Bailey and Chloe. Cherished brother of James Nesbitt (Edith Cody). Jack will also be fondly remembered by extended family and numerous friends. As per his wishes, private cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON, 905-632-3333, on Saturday March 17, 2018 at 1:00pm. As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donation in Jack’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
