RYDER, James Henry (1953-2017)

Suddenly at his residence in Hamilton, we sadly announce the passing of James on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the age of 64. Dear son of the late William Ryder and his wife Marguerite (nee Talbot) of Burlington, formerly of Hamilton and Peterborough. Dear brother of Vicki (Wayne) Pearce of Burlington, Lylie Ryder (John Punter) of Peterborough, Robert (Nancy) Ryder of Union Bay, BC, and to Sandra Ryder (Carl Lewis) of St. Catharines. Will also be missed by Louise Ryder (Delpellaro) of Peterborough, his step son, Matthew Jones of Peterborough, step daughter, Melissa, Tisi (Jones) of Peterborough, grandchildren, Joshua. Allison, Natalie and Kaydance and by his many nieces and nephews. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 485 Brant Street, (one block north of City Hall), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 9:30 am-10:30 am where a Service of Remembrance will follow at 10:30 am. For those who wish donations in memory of James may be made to The Good Shepherd in Hamilton. The family expresses a special thank you to Dr. Owsianki and his staff for all your kindness shown towards Jim over the years.
