Peacefully at Kilean Lodge in Grimsby, on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Born in Hamilton in 1917, raised by her father, the late Robert J. Hewson (1953). Beth is predeceased by her husband Harold (Boots) of 52 years (2000), and her daughter Marilyn Ann Kelterborn (1969), and by her brother Robert W. Hewson. Beth is survived by her daughter Jane Vanderheiden (late Leonard (2012)), grandchildren Mark (Paula), Jeff (Christine), and Andrew (Brooke), and great-grandchildren Evan, Emma Jane, Brad, Brayden and Logan. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and their families. Beth was a long-time volunteer for the West Lincoln Memorial Auxiliary, and a member of Trinity United Church in Grimsby for many years. The family wishes to thank dear friend, Beverly Stewart, for many years of enduring friendship and support. To honour Beth's wishes, cremation will take place, followed by a private interment at Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby, at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the West Lincoln Memorial Auxiliary would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
