Obituary for Ignacy Bajor
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side in Burlington at The Village of Tansley Woods at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Janina. Loving father of Zbigniew, Mark (Nicole) and Diane (Andrzej) Pona. Doting grandfather of Craig, Jacob, Gregory, Emily and Owen. Survived by his sister Mary Wolkowski and brother in law Jerzy Stefanski. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Genowefa, Celina, Jan, Teresa and Bronislawa. Loving uncle to Yola, John and Christine, Joanna and families. He will be dearly missed by his extended family and friends, both here and in Poland. Sincere thank you to the staff at the Village of Tansley Woods-Brant Community. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday, November 7 from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers for Ignacy at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church (2261 Parkway Drive) on Wednesday November 8 at 11 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Reception to follow at the Polish Hall (2316 Fairview Street).
