Peacefully on Saturday October 7, 2017, just short of his 103rd Birthday. He was married to his late wife Betty for 74 years. He is survived by his son Richard Richardson and his wife Susan and his daughter Heather Ann Hutchingame and her husband Robert Hutchingame. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Remembered affectionately by Audrey Johnston and family, and good friend Helen Creighton. Willie Richardson was a Second World War Navy Veteran. Willie was born October 23, 1914 in Reading, England immigrated to Canada when he was (6) years old and worked for the Canadian Government until he retired. Family and Friends are invited to visit at the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry 150 Woodroffe Ave. (at Richmond Rd.) on Wednesday October 11th from 12 noon till 1:00 p.m.. A Celebration of life will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. For those wishing donations to the Perley and Rideau Veterans Home would be appreciated, and in particular to the wonderful staff at the Gatineau 1 North Unit.
