Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of Alexandra for 58 years. Loving father of Dr. Taras (Sue), Michael (Svitlana) and Andrew (Laurie). Proud "Dido" of Judi, Thomas, Elizabeth, Pavlo, Oles, Lev and Luke. Nick was the oldest of 5 children, he is survived by his sister Nadia in Ukraine.
Nick's family will receive relatives and friends from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Panakhyda 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral Service at Chapel of All-Saints of Ukraine (1280 Dundas St. West, Oakville) on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment St. Volodymyr's Cemetery. Reception to follow at St. Volodymyr's Ukrainian Cultural Centre.
