Obituary for Roland Henry "Rolly" Kuchler

Joined his beloved wife Gloria in Eternal Life on June 24, 2017 at the age of 96. Cherished father of Timothy J. Kuchler, Susan (Rob) Couchman and Judith (Jack) Boland. Fond brother of Mary (Earl) Stintzi. Also survived by 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Roland, Rolly, Dad, Pop, Grandpa Coco Kuchler, Lived a full life, filled with the love of his family including three children, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and the friendship of every creature he came
in contact with. Generous to a fault, he spread his genuine love to every child, woman, man, dog, cat, every being he met. His childlike enthusiasm was infectious. Whether literature, music, art, food, oh he loved food, he was always excited to have a new experience. His knowledge of sports was encyclopedic. He was the prototype of the sensitive man, he could laugh and cry, unashamedly. He was a true “gentle-man”. He left a big hole in our hearts, one we will try to fill by remembering him fondly, laughing with the echo of his laughter still ringing in our ears. We will all try to emulate this kind thoughtful generous man as we move forward without his physical presence. He taught us so much about how to live fully, with gusto and most of all, love.
