Condolence From: Bob Winegar
Condolence: I attended the University of New Brunswick in the early 60's and although in Mechanical Engineering, shared an Electrical class with Peter. Peter had become the go-to guy when it came to answers, and I lobbied him regularly with regard to homework. Once, however, he simply put the answer down with no supporting data, to which his friend Norm Crutchfield explained, "Peter has such mental firepower he usually just jumps straight to the answer!" I shook my head, knowing the prof would never accept homework from me, a mere mortal, without workup. My condolences to the family in the loss of this brilliant engineer and remarkable individual.
