Peacefully passed away at Hilltop Manor, Cambridge Ontario, on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the age of 81. Beloved husband and best friend of Catherine for 60 years. Loving father of Lynn, Jay, Glen (Terri-Lynne) and Kelly Robbins (Jamie). Proud grandfather of Kyle, Michael, Emma, James, Joshua, Annabelle, Liam, Amber, Braden and Sydney. Special thanks to the nurses and PSW's at Hilltop Manor. As per Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM, where a Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 1:30 PM. Reception to follow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Parkinson Society or Alzheimer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
