Herman Joseph Calasa Sr., 83, of Haiku, passed away on February 18, 2017 in Kahului surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 4, 1933 in Sprecklesville, Maui.
Visitation will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, mass will begin at 10:30 a.m., and burial will follow at 12 noon at Valley Isle Memorial Park.
Herman was the owner/operator of Herman‘s Repairs Auto Wrecking & Towing.
He is survived by his wife, Caroline Calasa; sons, Herman J. (RoseMary) Calasa Jr., Earl M. (Gigi) Calasa, Rodney J. (Sandy) Calasa Sr.; sister, Annette Peters; 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
