Sally Ann (Witkop) Lloyd, 74, of Somers, CT loving wife of 55 years to Carlton Lloyd, Jr. entered into Eternal Rest at Baystate Medical Center. Sally was born December 6, 1937, in Stafford Springs, CT the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Strahan) Witkop. Sally worked at the Four Town Fair for over 25 years in the exhibition building. She was a member of the Somers Congregational Church and enjoyed camping with her family, country line dancing with her beloved husband, Carlton. In addition to her husband she is also survived by three children, Dennis Lloyd and his wife, Carrie of Somers, CT, Sharon Shattuck and her husband, John of Port Charlotte, FL and Shelly Lloyd and her husband, Chuck May of Stafford Springs, CT; a brother, Robert Witkop and his wife, Yvonne of Hendersonville, NC. Sally is also survived by her four grandchildren, Christina, Dawn, Becky and Nikki: six great grandchildren, Brandon, Valeri, Jasmine, Courtney, Fyona and Jaron and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, from 5-8 pm at the Somers Funeral Home, 354 Main St., (Rte 190) Somers, CT. A funeral service for Sally will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Somers New West Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in memory of Sally may be made to the Somers Congregational Church (Building Fund), P.O. Box 295, Somers, CT 06071.
